You know that we are well and truly into the Chinese New Year season when McDonald’s launches their classic Prosperity menu. Available from 11am on 20 January 2022, you can get your hands on their Prosperity Chicken Burger and Prosperity Beef Burger for $6.10 for a single patty and $8.10 for a double. Perennial fan favourite Twister Fries ($4) are also available a la carte, or at an additional $0.80 with every Extra Value Meal.
Those familiar with the Prosperity burger will know that the patties come sandwiched between toasted sesame buns, and are glazed in a sweet and spicy black pepper sauce. Remove the white onion slices in your order if you do not appreciate the raw sweetness that it adds! The Prosperity burger comes quite sauced-up, so try dipping the Twister Fries in the extra sauce!

This year’s menu will also debut the Strawberry Pie ($1.40), which substitutes the usual apple filling with sweet, jammy strawberry pieces.

Get all of this along with a Peach McFizz in their Prosperity Feast (from $10.80), which will entitle you to a set of limited-edition red packets with every order, while stocks last.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on the meal, you can enjoy exclusive access to the CNY specials ahead of everybody else by getting your meal delivered! The Prosperity menus will be available on McDelivery after breakfast hours on 19 January, so get your apps open and ready.
Be sure to check out McDonald’s three-part short film series launching weekly from 20 January, which will showcase the adventures of a young boy as he gets ready for Chinese New Year with his family. Clues to special promo codes are hidden within each episode for deals on the My McDonald’s App and McDelivery App!
