Meetime: Huge DIY Instant Noodle Cafe In JB With Ingredients Under $0.30 And Waffle Station

Meetime is a huge instant noodle cafe at JB Setia Indah

DIY instant noodle cafes like those popular in Seoul have taken over Singapore of late, with the likes of Slurp Mee taking the city by storm. The same is happening across the Causeway, with Meetime opening in Johor Bahru’s Setia Indah.

This huge instant noodle DIY cafe caused a fair bit of buzz for its wide selection of noodles, displayed on shelves that are almost floor-to-ceiling.

It’s a great pit stop to make the next time you’re headed to JB, especially if you’re just looking for a quick meal. They’re open till 4am also, which makes them perfect for a late-night supper. Everything at Meetime is DIY, so there are no long waits for your food either.

To start, cheese your favourite instant noodle from over 100 different flavours. You get your usual Maggi, Mama, and Indomie options, as well as popular Korean ramyeon brands such as Samyang and Nongshim. Japanese instant ramen is also available, including beloved brands such as Nissin.

Different noodles have different price points, but you’ll definitely not spend over S$5 for most picks. Once done, head over to the box freezers and pick your preferred toppings. Each topping is only RM0.90, which works out to around S$0.30.

Then, hea over to the automated cooking stations with easy-to-follow instructions to prep your noodles. Once done, you get to top your order with as many fried shallots as you’d like.

Canned drinks and ice cream bars are also available as dessert. If ice cream isn’t your jam, then get their DIY waffles, which you make on your own for RM5/~S$1.60. Choose from six different sauces, including kaya, jams, and peanut butter.
