Mom’s Touch Opens At The Centrepoint, Bringing Famous Korean Fast Food To Orchard

Mom’s Touch at The Centrepoint

Update: Mom’s Touch has permanently closed.

When the famous Korean fast food joint Mom’s Touch opened at Paya Lebar Quarter, the hype was real. With over 1,200 outlets in South Korea, their expansion into our part of the region was nothing less than exciting, especially for a Korea-lovin’ city like ours. Now, the brand is opening their second local outlet, this time closer to the heart of the city at The Centrepoint in Orchard.

The new stall is situated at basement one of the mall, and open till 10pm daily.

If you don’t know, Mom’s Touch is famed for their crispy KFC, aka Korean fried chicken, as well as their thicc chicken burgers. Their fried chicken is all hand-battered and breaded, locking in all the goodness from their secret blend of spices.

Try out their Mom’s Thigh Burger if you want to experience a simple, yet delicious chicken burger that best expresses Mom’s Touch. Priced at $6.30 ala carte or $8.80 for a meal, portions are generous and the pastry is so substantial, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. More indulgent options exist in the form of their Incredible Burger, priced at $7.90 for ala carte, or $10.40 for a meal. The massive chicken cutlet is adorned with ham, a fried egg, lettuce, pickles, and a special sauce. This is so good, Korean students voted it the best burger in 2016.

As for their fried chicken, you can get them in Spicy Sauce ($4 per piece), Original ($3.80 per piece), or Spicy ($3.80 per piece). The former is similar to the popular yangnyeom style of fried chicken, while the latter two are battered. If you’re dining with your friends, then you can get their bundles of nine or 12 pieces, from $29.

In celebration of their opening, you can now get a 1-for-1 deal on their signature Mom’s Thigh Burger, from now till 30 April at The Centrepoint outlet. This is applicable for both dine-in and takeaway orders only.
