Fresh from launching their first halal-certified Monster Planet outlet in Causeway Point last December, Monster Curry have yet again come up with another first. This time, they’ve managed to combine two of Singaporeans’ favourite eats in mala and Japanese curry to present new fusion creations.Â
Only available at their Chinatown Point branch, they have introduced Singapore’s first mala Japanese curry dishes that’ll whet your appetite, available from 1 March onwards for a limited period.

Jio your spice-lover friends to makan their Pork Katsu Mala Curry Rice ($13.80), ideal for those who want to add that extra numbing dimension in their dish. The mala sauce is entirely homemade, forming a balanced and tasty mixture with Monster Curry’s signature Japanese curry. If you didn’t know, this curry is made with 14 ingredients, and cooked for two days.Â
Savour a crunchy pork cutlet together with the house-made curry, now with an extra spicy kick. What’s great is that there are three different spiciness options, starting with a slight spicy level. These levels are super necessary for weaklings like myself who are #teamxiaola.Â

For a modern twist on an Italian staple, their Tori Karaage Mala Curry Pizza ($9.80) will spice up your dining experience. This individual pan pizza is perfectly sized for you to enjoy on your own. Their pizza crust here is thin and crispy, spread with Monster Curry’s homemade mala Japanese curry sauce, and is accompanied by juicy tori karaage.Â

If you prefer your mala together with noodles, try their Crispy Soft Shell Crab Mala Pasta ($16.80). The spaghetti is tossed in housemade numbing mala sauce, and decked with deep-fried soft shell crab, especially great for seafood lovers.
