This is a medley of four of Hai Tien Lo’s snowskin mooncake flavours, which includes, for the very first time, the Virgin Singapore Sling, starring a velvety pineapple filling, and a tropics-inspired Mango Passionfruit Snowskin Mooncake. Here’s another one for Shanghainese mooncake fans: Grand Shanghai Restaurant is offering UOB Cardmembers 25% off selected mooncakes from now till 20 August and 20% off selected mooncakes from 21 August to 21 September, applicable to their range of flaky, pastry-crust mooncakes.

Those who enjoy orh nee ought to get their hands on the Shanghainese Crispy Yam Paste Egg Yolk Mooncake ($64 for four pieces), where Shanghainese-style yam paste and salted egg yolk offer a sweet-salty combination sure to wow. Salted egg yolk fiends can instead try the Signature Crispy Lava Salted Egg Yolk ($72 for six pieces), with an oozy custard centre that reminds us of liu sha bao, albeit with a crispy shell.

Traditional baked mooncakes are also available, with prices starting from $64 for four pieces. Otherwise, give yourself a collagen-boosting treat in the form of the Premium Bird’s Nest Snowskin Mooncake, priced at ($72 for six pieces).
