Jio your kakis for a fun night out at this Korean-Mexican bar and bistro, which serves unlimited refills of beer and cocktails along with bar bites such as nachos. 6. Raclette cheese buffet

While a number of hotel buffets offer unlimited cheese, it’s not as common to see Free Flow Raclette on a menu. Avid fans can head to Wine Universe for copious amounts of this Swiss cheese at $49++ per person, or get a single portion for $12++. If you are looking for something that’ll remind you of ah ma’s cooking, try Taiwan Porridge A La Carte Buffet at Goodwood Park Hotel. This hearty buffet offers classics like sweet potato porridge, fried pomfret and prawn paste chicken. Those who rather stick to single portions can opt for Taiwan Porridge Lunch Bento ($21++) that comes with a handful of sides and a bowl of hot porridge.

Festive Dessert Buffet is happening now as well, so you and ah ma can indulge in both Western and Asian sweets after your meal. The Taiwan Porridge A La Carte Buffet with Festive Dessert Buffet is priced at $48++ per adult and $30++ per child for lunch and dinner from now till 2 January 2017.

9. Xiao long bao and steamboat buffet

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao at Holland Village is perpetually crowded at night because of their Xiao Long Bao Steamboat Buffet. The steamboat selection is pretty impressive with four soup bases, seafood, mushrooms, meats, veggies and homemade la mian (hand-pulled noodles). Of course, the major crowd-puller here is the unlimited XLBs served in bamboo baskets. Even though it’s a buffet, these soup buns are steamed upon order so you’ll get them fresh and piping hot.

The buffet is priced at $27.80++ from Monday to Thursday and $30.80++ from Friday to Sunday. There are three rounds of dining each day and a promotion from now till 30 December gives you 20% off if you’re in the first round (5pm to 6:30pm).
