This Cafe Has Soya Bean You Tiao Ice Cream, Love Letter Waffles And More In Marina Square

Oh My Cow has love letter waffles with ice cream in Marina Square

Dessert fans, there’s a new ice cream and waffle spot in town! Oh My Cow is located in Marina Square, which is a short walk from Esplanade or Promenade MRT Station. You can tuck into ice cream in a wide range of interesting flavours, unique love letter waffles, and coffee in a cosy setting.

The centrally located cafe got a fair bit of traction by introducing the first Nutella tap in Singapore. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available on our visit.

Ice cream prices start at $4.90 for a single scoop of classic flavour, and $8.90 for a double, with an additional $1 per premium flavour.

For the full experience, get the Love Letter Ice Cream Waffle ($16) set, which comes with a freshly baked, love letter-inspired waffle topped with two scoops of ice cream.

We opted for the earthy Black Sesame and the nostalgic Soya Bean with Dough Fritters AKA dou jiang you tiao.

The waffle leans dense and eggy, with a sweet aftertaste resembling that of the CNY snack.

There’s also the Ice Cream Molten Lava ($12), comprising a warm chocolate lava cake with a scoop of ice cream.

Sadly, the cake wasn’t molten in the middle, though it tasted rich and chocolatey. Pair this with the nutty Pistachio Power (top up $1) ice cream for a decadent dessert!

If you’re in an adventurous mood, the funky-tasting, slightly pungent Signature Truffle Cheesecake ($5.90) might be up your alley.

Drinks-wise, you won’t go wrong with the Iced Genmaicha Latte ($8); otherwise, get an Iced Black ($6) to cut through the richness of the desserts.

Another noteworthy cafe in the area that’s worth checking out is the famous Cafe Kitsune, which serves French desserts, Japanese-inspired sandwiches and more in Capitol Singapore! Otherwise, read our Makan Makan review if you’re up for halal Indonesian fare in Marina Square too.
