Get The Viral Blue Cloud Latte At This Korean Cafe And Tufting Studio In JB

Oh My Ice is a Korean cafe and tufting studio in JB

I’m constantly looking for Korean cafes in Singapore as I can’t get enough of their pretty desserts, unique drink creations, and cosy, chill vibes. If you resonate with me, visit Oh My Ice in Johor Bahru, a cafe that gives you a slice of Korean life—without buying a plane ticket.

The current exchange rate is RM1 = ~S$0.30 as of 18 March 2025.

My colleague and I were out and about the entire day before dropping by the cafe, so we cooled down with their stunning hand-crafted drinks. Castle In The Sky (RM23) is on the left and Glowing Sunset (RM16) is on the right.

The crowd-favourite, TikTok-viral Castle In The Sky is illustrated to depict a calm scenery of grass against clear blue skies. There are even clouds hand-drawn using house-made cream!

This drink is sweet and milky at first sip with a salty aftertaste; it features aloe vera bits at the bottom, butterfly pea milk, and sea salt foam.

If you’d like a refreshing quencher to beat the heat, I recommend the Glowing Sunset instead. This fruity ade comes topped with cotton candy, which you can enjoy separately or together with your drink for extra sweetness.

Drinks aside, my favourite dessert from Oh My Ice was the house-made Strawberry Cream Cake (RM23), starring a heaping dollop of cream covering layers of airy sponge and strawberry jam within.

I really liked the velvety smooth texture of the sponge and cream. Plus, it helped that the dessert wasn’t cloying—it wasn’t too sweet or creamy. There are six alternative flavours to choose from, including the popular Macha Basque (RM25), Yuzu Earl Grey Cake (RM23), and Lychee Rose Cake (RM18).

Interestingly, Oh My Ice doubles as a tufting studio. The spacious cafe has a designated craft area adorned with a colourful textile wall and a separate dining area where you can chill with your friends over coffee and conversations.

The cafe is located on the second floor along a street of shophouses, and is open till 10pm every day except Monday.
