New in: Ollella has opened a dine-in cafe at Far East Square! ICYMI, Ollella Cluny Court closed its shutters just last month. Earlier this month, they teased in an Instagram post their upcoming move to a new location right in the heart of the CBD.

There aren’t many photos of the space at the moment as the cafe officially opens on 17 October 2023 at 10:30am. Based on the picture posted by the brand, you can expect a number of indoor and alfresco tables for dine-in.

You can also look forward to mains that are affordably priced under $8, including Lontong Sayur ($5.80): vegetables and rice cakes submerged in a spicy, lemak curry. A vegetarian option is available on request, too.

Another must-try main is Nasi Lemak Sambal Hijau Ayam Berempah ($7.80), comprising fragrant coconut rice with spice-marinated fried chicken cubes, Padang-style green chilli, fried anchovies, and a sunny-side up.

If you only want the carbs, there’s a plain Nasi Lemak Kosong ($2) that comes without all the frills.

Ollella is most known for their fresh Indonesian kueh, so you can definitely find them here at the new cafe as well.

We don’t have their kueh menu at the moment, but you should be able to order signature items such as Kueh Dadar (price TBD), Kueh Salat (price TBD), and Kueh Bika Ambon (price TBD) here. We’ll update this story with prices when we get more information.

The nearest train station is Telok Ayer MRT Station, located right across Far East Square.
