You may have heard that the famous French pastry chef Pierre Hermé is setting up shop in Singapore soon. Here’s the latest update we have: before the official boutique opens in July 2025, there’s an ongoing pop-up that’s happening at Resorts World Sentosa‘s Hotel Ora for a limited time only.
At this exclusive pop-up store, fans can look forward to 12 macaron flavours by Pierre Hermé, who has earned the nickname “Picasso of Pastry”.
According to the pop-up website, these macarons are available in a range of gift-worthy sets, ranging from four pieces ($12) to 40 pieces ($92). If you’re getting the most expensive set, it works out to $2.30 per macaron.
If you just want to sample a few flavours, the 1001 Hearts ($12) set comes with four macarons of your choice, packed in an adorable tin with heart prints dotted all over.
On to the flavours. Pistachio fans have to try their Pistachio Praline, starring pistachio-flavoured macaron shells piped with a sweet and creamy pistachio praline middle. If you’re a fan of nutty flavours, you won’t go wrong with the Hazelnut Praline & Crunchy Hazelnut macarons!
Here are the 10 other flavours in this line-up: Matcha & Yuzu, Salted Butter Caramel, Paineiras Plantation Chocolate, Madagascar Vanilla, Raspberry & Candied Raspberry, Passionfruit & Candied Passionfruit, Milk Chocolate & Passionfruit, Milk Chocolate & Flaky Praline, Mango & Lime, and Ispahan AKA Rose, Lychee & Raspberry.
Check out the limited-time pop-up at Hotel Ora, from 12pm to 8pm daily. You can also pre-order by calling their number (6577 6688) before picking up your macarons.
