We’re well into the month of Ramadan bazaars—Hari Raya food fairs are popping up everywhere, from Bazaar Raya Utara Sembawang beside Sembawang MRT Station, to the famous Geylang Serai Ramadan bazaar. Adding to the list is the PLQ Mall Ramadan bazaar, ongoing till 9 April 2024!

The food fair is held at PLQ Mall’s open field, right next to Paya Lebar MRT Station.

Fan-favourite pasar malam stall ChubTutu has a kiosk at this bazaar, so you can get your hands on their popular kueh tutu here!

The stall is famous for their unique tutu kueh fillings, including Black Sesame, D24 Durian, and even Chilli Crab. Each box of five is priced from $3.50 to $5, depending on the flavour.

Spuds Shack is also making an appearance at the PLQ Mall bazaar. Get their Classic Potato Rost ($6.50) if it’s your first time here, or go with the Torched Mentaiko Rosti ($8.50) for something more special.

Those who want something sweet and sinful can head to Thai Dessert House for their Thai Fried Banana, priced at $4 for six pieces. They have Mango Sticky Rice (price TBD) too!

Otherwise, 90 鼎, which we featured in our Tampines MRT bazaar article, has Taiwan Xi Men Mushroom Snacks ($6). These are Taiwanese-style grilled oyster mushrooms in flavours such as Garlic Spicy and Lemon Pepper.

We also spotted Ramly burgers, Taiwanese crispy fried chicken, Indonesian bakso, kebabs and more at the fair!

Another must-visit food fair this Hari Raya is the Kampong Gelam bazaar, which has over 100 stalls operating from 2pm to 11pm daily, till 5 April 2024. Otherwise, check out our full guide to the best places to eat in Paya Lebar, including Taiwanese joint Fong Sheng Hao and Qin Ji Rougamo for Chinese meat sandwiches!

Address: 10 Paya Lebar Road, Singapore 409057
Opening hours: TBD
