PUTIEN Has Limited Edition Oyster Dishes, Including Highly Raved Deep-Fried Chilli Oysters

PUTIEN has limited edition deep-fried chilli oysters till end March

As we are in the midst of oyster season, PUTIEN has released its oyster seasonal menu with a few returning hits and some exciting new additions. This limited-time offering is available from now till the end of March 2023.

The 2021 bestseller, Deep-fried Oysters with Dried Chilli ($19.80++), is once again gracing the menu of PUTIEN restaurants. Tempura-battered and fried till golden-brown, these plump and sweet oysters are made to have an irresistible outer crunch. Best of all, they have an addictive spicy kick that comes from Chongqing chilli and house-made pepper oil.

To enjoy the delicacy at its purest, get the Seasoned Fresh Oysters ($18.80++). True to traditional Putian cooking techniques, salt is the only ingredient used to cook this dish—this adds some savouriness to the naturally sweet oysters. Plus, you won’t have to worry about fishiness, as these oysters are known to be extremely fresh.

Since drinks pair well with oysters, you can get 20% off PUTIEN’s house sake when you order this dish!

Another highlight is the Braised Oysters with Basil ($18.80++), a dish that goes perfectly with rice. Here, deep-fried oysters are simmered in low heat with PUTIEN’s special sauce, basil, and garlic, imbuing them with exceptional fragrance and flavour.

To add some heartiness to your oyster feast, try the all-new Oysters with Sifen Glass Noodles ($19.80++). This dish sees smooth glass noodles infused with a rich, flavourful soup. Fresh oysters are strewn throughout the dish as well.

Returning for the first time since 2019 is the Hometown Oyster Soup ($19.80++). This nourishing soup uses a traditional Putian wet frying technique known as “Liu”, allowing the rich flavours of its ingredients—which include oysters of course—to permeate the broth.

When one talks about oysters and PUTIEN, it’s impossible not to mention its perennial classic, the PUTIEN Crispy Oyster ($19.80++). It’s like our oyster omelette, but with particularly succulent oysters and fragrant eggs. This dish goes best with PUTIEN’s piquant Spice Mum Chilli Sauce.

The oyster menu can be found at all PUTIEN outlets in Singapore, as well as via Inline, Oddle, GrabFood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo apps. PUTIEN is also offering a promotion of 2 oyster dishes for $29.8++, so head down to your nearest outlet to enjoy the seafood delicacy at an attractive price!
