If you’re all for good food and good vibes, here’s a piece of delightful news: you can now enjoy a unique dining experience at Restaurant Trail by Mastercard, which takes place on the weekdays from 14 to 25 August 2023 at Sentosa. The 10 day event, a part of the Sentosa Food Fest 2023, features 10 different restaurants for you to indulge in a variety of cuisines showcased via a range of exclusive course menus and high tea sets. Here are some menus we’ve tried that you can check out when you head down to Sentosa!
Featuring picturesque views of the South China Sea, LeBar is an outdoor pavilion lounge at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa that offers a wallet-friendly high tea experience from 1pm to 5pm.

In light of National Day, you get to enjoy their Pan-Asian Heritage High Tea priced at $45++ for one, and $88++ for two. Besides free-flow Nespresso Coffee and TWG Tea, each set comprises a good selection of locally-inspired savouries and sweets.
For the savouries, we recommend their Caramelised Kurobuta Pork Kong Bak Bun as well as Singapore Chilli Crab Crispy Mantou. The former comes with a soft and fluffy bun, and a thick slab of well-seasoned, tender pork belly. For those with a sweet tooth, you can give their Teh Tarik Panna Cotta and Onde Onde Lamington a try.
For a hearty meal, there’s Native Kitchen with a Four-course Menu priced at $88++ per person. You can expect an appetiser, a soup, a main dish, and of course, a dessert to end your dining experience on a sweet note.
Their main course features Pan-seared Blackened Spices Chicken Breast, which is a combination of chicken jus, semi-dried cherry tomatoes, asparagus, and a side of parmesan polenta. We found that the chicken breast complemented really well with the creamy, cheesy polenta. In addition, the restaurant boasts a lush and serene ambience, which makes your dining experience here all the more memorable. Don’t forget to make a reservation of at least three days in advance to snag a table!
To dine by the beach, we recommend paying a visit to Summerhouse Beach Club. Here, you can enjoy a Three-course Menu for the affordable price of $45.15 nett per person.
Among the three sets available, we decided on Set C, which includes cheese fries loaded with nacho cheese sauce, a grilled chicken burger, and a scoop of ice cream. Plus, you get an unobstructed view of Siloso Beach while enjoying your meal. Head down anytime between 12:30pm and 5pm to enjoy this set! Do note that only dine-in is available at Summerhouse Beach Club.
For delectable pizza, you can make your way to Trapizza, where you’ll find a Three-course Set Menu at $50 nett for one. Their course meal comprises a salad, a main dish, and a dessert.
For our main course, we settled on Pizza Siciliana, which features a winning combination of traditional Sicilian pork sausage, salami, tomato sauce, and a variety of vegetables. We also thoroughly enjoyed the salad as the prawns were fresh and plump, and there were bits of tropical fruits and candied walnuts for a touch of sweetness and crunch, making the dish extra moreish. Also, a shout-out to their house-made tiramisu—the creamy layers of mascarpone and espresso-soaked ladyfingers were truly the icing on top of a memorable meal. It also makes for a great sharing dessert as it can easily feed three to four pax.
Alternatively, Miska Cafe is another vibrant restaurant that offers Mexican and Mediterranean cuisine. There are a total of five set menus to choose from, and after much thought, we decided on Set E.
It includes baba ghanoush, which is famously known as a Mediterranean appetiser that uses roasted eggplants as the main ingredient, served with pita wedges, grilled rib-eye steak, and a raspberry slice cake. Each set menu is priced at $70++ per person. If you’re not big on eggplant, get Set A instead, which comes with hummus instead.
With a minimum of two adults paying with a Mastercard Credit or Debit card, the third person can dine for free. Take note that this promotion is only applicable on weekdays at participating restaurants. See you at Restaurant Trail by Mastercard at Sentosa!
