Those living in Bukit Merah have much to be excited about as SG Kopitiam, a new coffeeshop with a seriously stacked lineup, is set to officially open in the area come 15 April 2024. Almost all of the stalls here are well-established in their own right, and collectively they offer an impressive range of eats under one roof.

The most critically acclaimed stall in SG Kopitiam appears to be Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang, a franchise that has been recognised by the Michelin Guide. Be sure to try their signature Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang, which comes with its zesty sambal chilli, succulent chicken leg, fragrant coconut rice, ikan bilis and more.

Fans of K-cuisine are likely to recognise JIN Kimchi Express, a franchise known for its affordable and delicious Korean fare. Some of their specialties include the Jin Signature Kimchi Stew Set, Icy Mul Naengmyeon, and Kimchi Pancake. You can read our Jin Kimchi Express review to find out more about the potential offerings at this new Bukit Merah outlet.

Another easily recognisable stall, this time among fans of bak chor mee, is No. 25 Minced Meat Noodle. The stall’s creamy and thick tonkotsu-inspired soup that comes with each bowl of bak chor mee has won it many fans, and they look set to do the same in the Bukit Merah area. You can have a closer look at the stall’s offerings with our No. 25 Minced Meat Noodle review.

Other well-known stalls in SG Kopitiam include Fei Ma Yong Tau Foo, 161 Ban Mian, Man Tak Kei and more. At the time of writing, we aren’t sure about the prices at each stall yet, but the fact that they are set in a coffeeshop means they are likely to be generally affordable.
