True Hello Kitty fans know that the adorable Sanrio character loves apples—more specifically—apple pie. In celebration of Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary this year, Starbucks is partnering with Hello Kitty to launch seasonal cakes and apple-infused drinks. We don’t know when they will be available till, so we encourage you to get your hands on the newly launched items ASAP.Â
Go for the Apple Pie Cream Frappuccino ($8.40/$9.30/$10.20) to satisfy your sweet tooth. The drink is reminiscent of Hello Kitty’s favourite whipped cream-topped apple pie, featuring an ice-blended vanilla beverage with a generous layer of chunky applesauce, then topped with whipped cream. The best part of this drink, though, is the iconic Hello Kitty bow-shaped chocolate atop the whipped cream!
The Red Apple Frozen Tea ($8.40/$9.30/$10.20) on the other hand, is a lighter tea-based drink for those who prefer something a little bit more refreshing to beat the heat. This drink consists of an oolong tea base mixed with cane syrup for extra sweetness and then finished with the same chunky applesauce.Â
Aside from the two fun drinks, you can expect two new sliced cakes as part of the collaboration. Choose from the Strawberry Burnt Cheesecake ($8.20) or the Apple Vanilla Chantilly Cream Cake ($8.20) to pair with your beverages. These two cute cakes also come topped with Hello Kitty’s iconic red bow for an extra wow factor.
Alongside the new menu items, fans can also expect a lineup of adorable Hello Kitty merch with the likes of Ceramic Mugs (from $39.90), Plushies ($44.90), and even Blind Box Collectibles ($51.60), among several other things.Â
You also stand a chance to get a free set of Hello Kitty x Starbucks stickers with every purchase of a venti-sized drink from this collaboration, while stocks last! Head to any Starbucks outlet to grab these cute goodies before they are gone.
