Nothing beats the satisfaction of sinking your teeth into a crispy, well-seasoned piece of juicy fried chicken. If you’re like me and find comfort in every bite of this savoury delight, check out Super Chicken, a new, affordable fried chicken spot within spitting distance of Bugis MRT Station. Grab your supper buddies and make your way down as it opens until 5am daily!

It’s almost impossible to miss Super Chicken with its eye-catching, vibrant storefront. From across the street, the bold and capitalised ‘Super Chicken’ signboard on the three-storey building grabs your attention.

For less than $9, you’ll be spoilt by a plethora of a la carte meal choices, including the must-try Signature Taiwanese Salted Crispy Chicken ($5.90) and Crispy Chicken Skin ($4.90). If you’re not the biggest fan of chicken, worry not as there are non-chicken options such as their Fried Squid ($7), Signature Plum Sweet Potato ($4.50), and Onion Rings for as low as $3.50.

If you don’t mind spending a little more, get the Signature Bone-In Chicken Steak ($8.90) instead. Online reviews tout this chicken steak as tender and juicy on the inside with crispy skin on the outside.

FYI, for every item you purchase, you can choose from three flavours: Pepper, Plum Taste, and Cumin. You can even customise your spice preference from small to extra spicy.

Opt for their value meal, which starts from $9.90, to get a canned drink that will wash down all the greasy flavours.

As its name suggests, it literally comes in a long, slim box, complete with a variety of items such as their chicken drumstick, rice cake, salted crispy king oyster and more, depending on your set of choice. There are also set meals for two to three people starting from $25.90!
