Swee Choon has introduced new menu items this month, including some made with trendy flavours like mala and black sesame. Expanding on their already extensive dim sum menu, these new items will be available at both their Jalan Besar and Tampines outlets for both dine-in and delivery.

Their Mala Siew Mai ($2.80) features a pinkish hue instead of its traditional yellow skin. A small bite gives off a spicy kick thanks to a solid blend of spices. Similarly, their Mala Xiao Long Bao ($5.60) integrates the tingling numbness characteristic of mala into its savoury broth.

Swee Choon is also introducing their Tofu Bomb ($3.20), a beancurd skin ball that combines textures from different ingredients such as chives, prawns, minced pork, and a strong spicy chilli, promising an explosion of flavours.

Tearing open their Black Sesame Lava Ball ( $4.50) reveals a runny sesame filling that is fragrant and nutty. If you are a fan of their liu sha bao, this might be one to order.

Last but not the least, their Vietnamese Spring Roll ($3.20) is a classic Vietnamese dish made of fresh prawns, minced pork, and fish paste wrapped in Vietnamese spring roll skin.

Items such as their Mala Xiao Long Bao, Mala Siew Mai, and Tofu Bomb are also available on their selection of frozen items, just in case you want a personal stash of your favourite dim sum foods to enjoy at home. From now till 31 March 2021, Swee Choon is also having a 10% storewide discount for their frozen menu items when you order via their website below.

For those uninitiated to Swee Choon, it’s a third-generation dim sum brand that has 58 years of history. Opening past midnight, Swee Choon is an especially popular supper spot among the younger crowd.
