ORTO Park in Yishun is best known for its boat noodles and Thai food offerings, but resident Chinese restaurant Tasty Loong is spicing things up with a new all-you-can-eat weekday lunch buffet, with over 40 free-flow menu items. The buffet is available from Monday to Friday, between 11am to 3pm, with the last order at 2:30pm.
Priced at $24.90++ per adult, and $16.90++ per child, the buffet menu will definitely leave you stuffed. Highlights include the likes of Chilli Crab, Braised Whole Abalone and Beef Tenderloin Cubes, as well as small bites, and wok-fried zi char dishes. Do note that the former items are special promotions and can only be redeemed for one serving per table, or per person.
On the dim sum front, expect an unlimited selection of har gow, siew mai, fried carrot cake, and char siew bao. Hearty, belly-warming double-boiled soups are also available to lighten up the meal. There are no limits to these.
Be sure to make your reservations on the Tasty Loong website before going down, or by calling the restaurant, as it can get crowded. Parking is free if you drive, thankfully, as ORTO can be a bit out of the way for those of us who don’t live in the North.
