1. Time For Thai

Halal-certified eatery Time For Thai serves up delicious Thai dishes that are sure to satisfy your Thai food cravings. Try their comforting Seafood Tom Yum Noodles Soup ($9.40). Each steaming bowl features springy noodles and tasty seafood such as squid and prawns, all simmered in a delightfully sweet and spicy broth. The stall offers island-wide delivery with a minimum order of $30, and a delivery fee of $5, which would be waived for orders above $70, so jio your neighbours!

2. Tom Yum Kungfu

Tom Yum Kungfu is a vibrant restaurant that dishes out a variety of Thai dishes. Try their Basil Roast Pork Belly ($12/$20), which features pork belly with a crispy skin, zhnged with basil leaves. This results in a fragrant pork dish that’s bursting with smoky and herbaceous flavours. There’s no minimum order, and a flat island-wide delivery fee of $3 applies. This fee is waived for orders above $80.

3. Bangkok Jam

Bangkok Jam’s blue-themed restaurants never fail to captivate me with their attractive storefronts and classic Thai dishes. Choose from seafood, chicken and pork to complement their Signature Phad Thai ($12.73+). You can even opt for a vegetarian option if you prefer. Regardless, this dish features silky smooth rice noodles packed full of flavours. Savoury with sweet and spicy undertones, this dish is truly a Thai classic. There’s a minimum order of $50, with a flat island-wide delivery fee of $5. This fee is waived for orders above $80. Note that there’s an additional $3 surcharge on the eve of and on public holidays.

4. Thai To Go

For Thai food at wallet-friendly prices, the halal-certified Thai To Go is the place to go. Try their Sambal Fried Rice w Beef ($8.90). Each plate consists of fragrant rice grains mixed with tender beef slices. The stall offers island-wide delivery with the minimum order ranging from $20 to $65, depending on your location, and a flat delivery fee of $5. Orders can be made on their website, and they only accept PayPal or cash.

5. Yaowarat Thai Kway Chap

Yaowarat Thai Kway Chap is famous for their Thai rendition of kway chap. Try their Signature Thai Kway Chap ($7.50), which consists of slippery rice noodles in a tingling peppery broth. This tasty dish is topped with Thai fish sausage and pig offal. You can also get sides such as Deep Fried Pork Belly ($10) and Fried Large Intestine ($10). 6. Pope Jai Thai

Pope Jai Thai serves up comforting Thai dishes that are reminiscent of my travels to the Land of Smiles. Affordable and tasty, their Garlic Honey Chicken with Rice Set ($8.80) is worth the price. It consists of delicious garlic honey chicken that’s sprinkled with sesame seeds, served with fluffy white rice and a sunny side up. To complete the experience, the set also comes with a cup of Thai milk tea or Thai lemon tea. There’s a minimum order of $20, with a flat island-wide delivery fee of $5. This fee is waived for orders above $80. Do note that the restaurant only accepts payment via PayNow.

7. Ah Loy Thai

Simple yet hearty, Ah Loy Thai’s traditional Thai dishes never fail to impress. Get a taste of one of the new additions to their menu, Thai Crispy Fish with Fish Sauce ($18.90). Many love the addictively crispy fish skin and chunks of succulent fish meat. The fish sauce is the icing on the cake. It’s not too overpowering, and has the right balance of sweetness and saltiness. The restaurant has a minimum order of $50 with free delivery.

8. Blue Jasmine

Housed in Park Hotel Farrer Park, Blue Jasmine is an elegant restaurant that dishes out Thai food. The restaurant’s delivery menu consists of seven bento boxes, each containing delicious ingredients that showcase the broad spectrum of Thai cuisine. Try the Heura Red Curry ($15+) bento set, which also happens to be one of the two bento sets that vegans can choose from as they’re meat-free. This bento set consists of jasmine rice, Heura plant-based meat in fragrant red curry, fresh vegetables, and the well-loved mango sticky rice dessert. There’s a minimum order requirement of eight bento boxes, with free delivery. Remember to make your orders at least a day in advance.

9. Beerthai House Restaurant

Beerthai House Restaurant is regarded as one of the best Thai restaurants in Golden Mile Complex. This humble restaurant dishes out great-tasting traditional Thai food, such as their Tom Yum Fried Rice ($7). Each plate is filled with a generous amount of fragrant rice full of sweet and sour flavours, then topped with plenty of seafood. There’s a minimum order of $60, with a flat island-wide delivery fee of $6.

10. 803 Thai Food

803 Thai Food dishes out affordable and unpretentious Thai food. Their Jumbo Basil Platter Rice ($29.90) is sure to turn many heads with its sheer size. This gigantic portion of basil rice can feed a family of four to five, and each fragrant spoonful boasts robust flavours. With generous portions of minced meat, prawns and eggs, the dish will ensure that your entire bunk’s protein intake for the day can be easily accomplished. Remember to preorder this dish in advance.
