The Alley Luxe: Famous BBT Brand To Open First Premium Cafe At Cineleisure On 18 May 2019

The Alley Luxe at Cineleisure

Just last month, The Alley made waves in Singapore with their opening at Jewel Changi Airport. As expected, the queues got pretty long, especially after dinnertime. To ease waiting – and travelling – times, they will be opening up a new joint serving their toothsome drinks at Cineleisure. Known as The Alley Luxe, this is slated to be their first premium concept for the brand. This is a big deal, considering they have over 300 outlets worldwide including Japan, Paris and Los Angeles.

Situated on the second floor of Cineleisure, the airy space has floor-to-ceiling windows with a bar table that faces out towards the first floor entrance of Cineleisure – a prime spot to people watch while you sip your BBT. There are about 20 seats here and we expect them to be filled up quite fast.

They are best known for their Brown Sugar Deerioca Series, which boasts QQ pearls that are brewed over four hours in brown sugar. If you’re new to The Alley, try their Brown Sugar Deerioca Fresh Milk ($5.30) to fully appreciate their signature brown sugar blend.

For matcha lovers, you will be pleased to find that their Matcha Brown Sugar Deerioca Fresh Milk ($6.30) comes topped with traditionally whisked matcha.

Aside from their brown sugar drinks, they also have a selection of premium milk teas as well as their Lulu Fresh Fruit Series and Aurora Series. The latter is a gradient-coloured drink made from an icy concoction of fresh fruits and fragrant tea.

The Lulu Fresh Fruit Series is new to The Alley Luxe. It showcases fresh fruits blended with tea, then topped with a dollop of snow velvet cream. Our favourite is the Snow Strawberry Lulu ($6.30) that’s both bright in flavour and sweet.

If you want an IG-worthy shot, order the Garden Milk Tea ($5.30), which features a regular milk tea topped with crushed Oreos.

Aside from drinks, the cafe will also be pushing out scrummy bakes including kouign-amann and cruffins filled with lemon curd, kaya and salted caramel. It’s not all sweets here. They also have savoury options such as a Gourmet Sausage and Cheese Croissant.

With all these great bites and drinks, we expect Cineleisure to be as crowded as it’s good ol’ days, thanks to The Alley Luxe.

Address: 8 Grange Road, #02-06A/B, Cineleisure Orchard, Singapore 239695
Opening hours: Daily 12pm to 10pm
