The Beast At Bugis Is Offering 1-For-1 Chicken And Waffles Until They Close Down On 10 November

The Beast at Bugis

After eight years of operation, The Beast has announced their last day of business to be 10 November 2021. As they prepare to bid farewell to their regular customers, the American restaurant is offering a promotion of 1-for-1 Chicken and Waffles until their official closure.

Before chicken and waffles were ubiquitous, The Beast was said to be the OG place in Singapore to go for the Southern classic dish. The usual price you pay for the Chicken and Waffles here is $22++, but with the promotion, you only pay $11++ per serving!

The tacos are also said to be a favourite of many regulars. Their Pulled Pork Tacos ($22++) features 10-hour slow-cooked pulled pork with green tomato salsa for a burst of acidity to cut through the greasiness of the meat.

While you’re there, get your hands on their highly raved Southern Fried Chicken ($20++), too. Featuring half a chicken brined for 24 hours, deep-fried to golden brown, and served with coleslaw and country gravy, this is one must-try.

To round up your meal, try their Chocolate Chess Pie ($8++) topped with torched meringue and graham crust. Top up an additional $3 for an ice cream scoop for good measure. If you like alcoholic desserts, get their Banana Foster Flambe ($13++) with caramelised bananas and vanilla bean ice cream, drizzled in Maker’s Mark whisky for a boozy finish.
