Thai food lovers, listen up! If you find it too much of a hassle to travel to Kallang for BKK Bistro & Bar’s $0.80++ boat noodles, here’s some great news. From now till 11 November 2023, The Original Boat Noodle is offering 10 boat noodles for just $10++!

Gather your friends and head over to any of these four outlets every Monday to Thursday, from 5pm till they’re sold out, to enjoy this promotion. You can enjoy this promotion at Northpoint City, Suntec City, The Seletar Mall, and Changi City Point.

Ordering here is a breeze: you can choose from four different soup bases, pick your preferred noodle type, and select your choice of protein━chicken or beef. The available soup bases include Pathumthani, Ayutthaya, Creamy Tomyum, and Sweet Kuey Chap.

An absolute must-order is their original Pathumthani soup base. This thick, dark soya sauce-based broth is known for its herbaceous flavour and an addictive blend of sour and spicy notes. It is steeped with 19 herbs, featuring ingredients such as star anise and cinnamon sticks, as well as a dash of five spice powder. Opt for this with rice noodles or springy noodles, though it’s highly recommended to pair it with rice noodles, which are said to soak up the broth well.

If you’re craving a bolder kick of spiciness, go for the Creamy Tomyum soup base instead. This base boasts a well-balanced combination of sourness and heat that’s said to be very shiok. Every bowl is also served with crispy golden wonton skin to add a good crunch.

To savour the full Thai experience, be sure to pair your meal with a glass of Cha Yen ($5.30++), AKA Thai milk tea, or Cha Keow Yen ($5.30++), AKA Thai green tea.

For more Thai eats, Tomyum Mama is a great choice, known for their affordable tom yum claypot and crab fried rice. Otherwise, check out Crispy Wings Western Delights, which offers a fantastic deal of $1 chicken wings.
