To our Muslim readers who are interested in getting a taste of French cuisine, here’s an eatery worth checking out: The Secret Garden By Zeekri, a French-inspired restaurant near Bugis MRT! This Muslim-owned restaurant offers a delectable selection of classic French dishes and pastries, so you’ll definitely not want to miss it.

Located in Kampong Glam, the restaurant sports an exterior that resembles the look of Parisian cafes and is beautifully decked in floral-themed decor.

Diners recommend coming for the French Onion Soup ($14++), a popular French appetiser that’s said to be rich and savoury. The soup comes served in a mini pot with baguette slices that are blanketed with melted mozzarella cheese.

Another popular pick is the Duck Confit ($32++), which stars a crispy duck leg atop a bed of house-made green pea puree, red cabbage and cranberry sauce. 

The Secret Garden By Zeekri has also got Weekday Lunch Sets if you’re planning to head down between 11:30am to 2:30pm on weekdays. Their 2-Course Meal will set you back $18++ per person, and includes one starter and one main course of your choice.

For starters, choose between the popular Summer Fruit Mesclun Salad, Truffle Mushroom Soup, or Asian Slaw With Smoked Duck.

As for mains, they’ve got Poached Salmon, Grilled Mustard Chicken, Seafood Aglio Olio, and Pasta Primavera, a cream-based pasta made with plenty of vegetables.

If that’s not enough, you can go for the 3-Course Meal instead, which costs $23++ per person. This set lunch adds on a pastry of your choice and comes with an Americano or soft drink. At an additional $4.50++, you’ll get to upgrade your drink to any Specialty Coffee too.

Alternatively, you can also check out the restaurant’s Afternoon High Tea that’s available on weekdays from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. At $48++, this high tea set will serve about two to three people.
