The Summer Acai To Open In Sengkang, Buy One Large And Get A Free Medium Bowl On 7 And 8 Oct

The Summer Acai opens at Rivervale Plaza with loaded acai bowls

Sengkang residents, you’ll want in on this: The Summer Acai will be opening a new outlet in Sengkang, at Rivervale Plaza!

The popular acai bowl brand, which has multiple outlets including Kovan, Tampines, and Woodlands, has announced that they’re setting up shop at Level 1 of Rivervale Plaza on 7 October 2023.

And that’s not all: on 7 and 8 October, 11am to 7pm, you can enjoy a free medium Basic B or Sugar Daddy bowl when you purchase either flavour in a large portion. Do note that for this promotion, each customer can only redeem once and modifications are not allowed.

The Basic B ($9.90 for medium, $15.50 for large) is a signature bowl that we featured in our ranked list of the best acai bowls in Singapore. This comes with an acai sorbet, packed with toppings including granola, banana, strawberries, dragonfruit, and chia seeds.

You also get a generous drizzle of sauce, with options such as Cookie Butter, Cashew Butter, Pistachio, and Nutella. They’re not shy with the sauces, so do request for less if you don’t want it to get too jelak.

Sugar Daddy ($9.90 for medium, $15.50 for large), on the other hand, swaps out most of the fruits for Biscoff, Oreo, and digestive biscuits.

During our visit, the acai came a tad frozen but softened quickly within 10 minutes. It’s also on the sweeter side, without a discernible acai berry flavour.

ICYMI: the brand has recently rolled out new flavours, including Mango Jambo ($10.50 for medium, $15.90 for large), which comes with a smooth and creamy mango sorbet paired with acai.

Those who love tangy flavours can try Squeeze My Lemons ($10.50 for medium, $15.90 for large) and Yuzu Punch ($10.50 for medium, $15.90 for large) instead!

If you’re looking for another acai place to visit, check out Ola Acai, a hidden gem in Kovan. This acai cafe sells affordable and delicious sorbet bowls from just $5.90!

Alternatively, for something savoury in the area, Roast Paradise has opened in Sengkang with their famous KL-style char siew.

Address: 118 Rivervale Drive, #01-K25 Rivervale Plaza, Singapore 540118
Opening hours: TBD
