When Tiang Wang Desserts opened in 2021, the late-night cafe was met with much fanfare for their IG-worthy mahjong decor and traditional desserts. Three years later, they’ve shifted to Keong Saik Road in Chinatown, a five-minute walk from Maxwell MRT Station!

The dessert shop is owned by veteran actor Li Nanxing, so you might be able to catch a glimpse of the star—or other local celebrities— if you’re lucky.
The new cafe sports the same mahjong-inspired look as before, with a huge mahjong tile photo wall on one end, zhnged up with neon lights for a vibey ambience. The dessert bowls used are designed with mahjong elements, too!
Try their signature Mao Shan Wang Durian Mousse (from $11.80), starring rich durian mousse packed with MSW pulp. Else, take things up a notch with their Durian Mango Pomelo Sago ($12.20), which pairs a refreshing bowl of mango pomelo sago with creamy durian puree.
If you love having textural variation in your desserts, consider their popping series, priced at $7.20 per bowl. On our previous visit, we enjoyed the Soursop Popping, which came with a heaping serving of soursop, popping boba, and shaved ice. Other flavours include Honeydew, Mango, and Longan!
Alternatively, for something more classic, Tian Wang also has traditional desserts such as Rice Ball with Ginger Soup ($5.20), Bubur Hitam ($5.80), and Chendol ($8.20).

To celebrate the new opening, the cafe has launched an all-new dessert: Berry Blast ($8.80). This fruity number features fresh berries, vanilla ice cream, and berry puree—perfect to cool down with on a hot and humid evening.
Tian Wang Desserts opens till 2am every day, so night owls can get their sugar cravings sorted even when it’s late!
