1. Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant

Those planning to enjoy a reunion dinner with their loved ones can head down to Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant. The fine-dining Chinese restaurant chain is offering a whole slew of exclusive CNY-themed dishes with premium seasonal ingredients. UOB Cardmembers get to enjoy 15% off their a la carte festive set menu items on 22 January and 23 January. These menus start at $98++ per person, and encompass dishes such as Braised Waxed Meat Rice with Mullet Roe and Lobster in Whole Pumpkin, as well as Rabbit-Styled Fugu Yusheng.

What’s more, if you’re hosting a family or corporate meal there, you get to enjoy a complimentary Moutai Bulao gift set, with a minimum spend of $1,000 on a CNY set menu. Worth $170, Moutai Bulao is an aromatic baijiu laced with longan, wolfberry, hawthorn, and other traditional Chinese botanicals for a more floral profile. These deals are valid from 9 January to 5 February 2023.

2. Hai Tien Lo

One of Singapore’s leading Cantonese restaurants Hai Tien Lo is offering UOB Cardmembers 20% off their CNY festive goodies when orders are made on their online store before 8 January with the code, ‘UOBCNY20’. Choose from a range of festive classics, including their Vitality Yu Sheng with Lobster, Abalone, and Smoked Salmon (from $179.76), which comes with a trio of luxurious seafood toppings.

3. Din Tai Fung

Lou hei is a staple part of every CNY gathering. Those who’ve been nominated to bring the yusheng to reunion dinner can turn to Din Tai Fung for their order, and enjoy 10% off too with a UOB Cards. Priced at $53.80, their Prosperity Smoked Salmon Yu Sheng is an all-time favourite, served up with slices of smoked salmon to live up to the adage, 年年有余 (Chinese saying for, “may every year end with abundance”). 

If you prefer a meat-free option, they also have you covered with the Prosperity Vegetarian Yu Sheng ($45.80). Both servings come with Din Tai Fung’s house-made plum sauce that’s tangy and sweet, as well as crispy yam strips in place of the usual crackers. The deal is available from 6 January to 5 February 2023.

4. TungLok Group

CNY is also the time to make sure your table is stacked with goodies for your friends and fam to munch on when they visit. Check out TungLok Group’s range of small bites and enjoy 15% off on the TungLok Pork Bak Kwa ($38.80 per 500g) and TungLok Nian Gao ($23.80) when you pay with a UOB Cards. 

The former is TungLok’s house-made bak kwa that’s flame-grilled for an ultra-smoky finish. There are also two flavours available: Honey-glazed, and Spicy. For something sweet, try their Health Promotion Board-endorsed Nian Gao. These low-in-sugar treats come in four flavours, from the Traditional option, to Pandan, Black Sesame, and Red Dates.

5. Crystal Jade Group

Crystal Jade’s restaurants have a whole host of deals for both UOB and Jadeite members, so pay close attention if you’re looking to dine there for your reunion dinner. If you have both a UOB card and Jadeite membership, book their festive menus from now till 3 January to enjoy 20% off. Otherwise, bookings from 4 January onwards enjoy 10% off. If you only have a UOB Card, the discounts are halved for the same timeframes, at 10% and 5% respectively. 

UOB Cardmembers can also sign up for a Jadeite membership entirely free, so take advantage of that and save more. All outlets have their specific CNY menus, so be sure to check out their website to find out more.

Diners who prefer to takeaway instead can visit Crystal Jade’s CNY e-store and enjoy 15% off, as well as a stackable 8% off when you pay with a UOB Card before 1 February using the code ‘23UOB8’. The e-store offers everything from yusheng to pencai, full reunion dinners, and ala carte dishes.

6. Peach Garden Chinese Restaurant

From 5 January to 5 February, get a free Smoked Salmon Yusheng from Peach Garden worth $88 when you spend a minimum of $500 on selected ala carte items. You get to pick from a wide range of CNY-themed dishes, spanning Homemade Radish Cakes ($26.78) to their Mini Deluxe Pencai ($365.04), which comes with baby abalones, pork belly, roasted sliced duck, dried oysters and more goodies. The online store also has a selection of yusheng in a variety of flavours, and hampers that are great for gifting as well.

7. Madame Fan, JW Marriott Singapore South Beach

8. Sushi Tei

Sushi Tei’s numerous outlets islandwide make it a highly convenient place to go to if you’re shopping for yusheng that comes with fresh sashimi. Their Prosperity Yusheng is a crowd favourite every year, as it includes 16 slices of fresh salmon sashimi, scallops, and jellyfish, atop the usual veggies. The yusheng comes in two sizes, medium ($43.80) and large ($49.80). UOB Cardmembers can enjoy a free upgrade to a large when they purchase the medium-sized option. 

Don’t leave without ordering a sweet treat to round off your meal too, as UOB Cardmembers get 1-for–1 on the Milk Crepe Roll, usually priced at $9.80. This hybrid between a mille crepe and a swiss roll is light, sweet, and an ideal end to any reunion meal. Note that this deal is only available on Saturday and Sunday.
