Having first opened a local outpost in Bedok last year, the popular Malaysian chain US Pizza has been expanding its presence here pretty rapidly. This year saw it open its latest outlet at Funan, where Little Caesars Pizza once was.

Founded in Penang in 1997, this pizzeria now has over 100 outlets in Malaysia. It is known for its Cheese Boat Pizza ($21.90), inspired by adjaruli khachapuri AKA Georgian cheese bread.

The Cheese Boat Pizza features thin layers of pizza dough stuffed with gooey cheese and finished with an egg in the centre. There is a hint of garlic amongst all the cheesy goodness, resulting in a unique savoury goodness!

The Salted Egg Pizza ($21.90) is also recommended. With salted egg yolk bits atop squid, shrimp, curry leaves, and chilli, this moreish pizza will impress those looking for bolder flavours. Besides these special edition pizzas, US Pizza also has more run-of-the-mill flavours, such as the Aloha Pizza and Spicy Chicken Deluxe. Prices start at $9.90 each.

To celebrate the opening of the Funan outlet, US Pizza is offering a Buy 1 Free 1 deal for all their a la carte pizzas at this outlet. The promotion lasts from now till 27 January 2025, so be sure to plan your visit and take advantage of the deal! Even if you’re not willing to make the trip down, they’re also available for delivery islandwide, via their online ordering site.
