On 14 February 2022 from 6pm to 9:30pm, Italian restaurant Pete’s Place at Grand Hyatt Singapore is serving a five-course Valentine’s Day menu. Dinner is priced at $168++ per couple, which works out to be $84++ per person, and includes two glasses of prosecco to start.

Boasting rustic, homely decor, the spacious Italian trattoria serves wood-fired pizzas, sumptuous pasta dishes, fresh bread, and classic Italian desserts. The evening starts with a savoury Sfincione, a Sicilian pizza topped with Pecorino cheese. Then, choose between the Burrata Cheese and Tomato PestoProsciutto e Melone, prepared with 18–month aged parma with sweet melon, or the Calamari Fritti AKA deep-fried squid rings. For mains, try the Bistecca Alla Fiorentina, a classic, thick-cut Florentine-style steak.

For a taste of history, bring your date to halal restaurant Permata in Kampong Glam. Located within the compounds of historic building Gedung Kuning, which translates to “yellow mansion” in Malay, Permata offers progressive Nusantara cuisine—perfect for those who want something a little different this year.

There’s a special Valentine’s Day menu available for both lunch and dinner from 11 to 14 February 2022, priced at $88++ per person. Highlights include Permata’s signature Chargrilled Filet Mignon with Spicy Tumeric Lemon Cream, Scalloped Potato, Asparagus and Tomato Confit, and a decadent dessert of Dark Golden Fried Banana with Vanilla Ice Cream, Salted Caramel and Almond Flakes. Each diner also gets an Asmaradana Mocktail, a refreshing concoction of ginger ale, cranberry juice, lemon zest, and lime.

3. Burger & Lobster


If bae fancies seafood, head to Burger & Lobster at Raffles Hotel or Jewel Changi Airport. On offer from 11 to 14 February 2022 is the Valentines’ Day Sharing Menu, which includes a mix of appetisers, one main course each, and a sweet treat for the perfect ending.

While this Valentine’s Day meal isn’t exactly the cheapest—it’s priced at $198++ per couple, which works out to be $99++ per person—you get a nice selection of seafood options to choose from, plus a mini bottle of wine to take home.

Tuck into the Raffles Hotel-exclusive Grilled Half Lobster with Bloody Mary Linguine, or The Decadent Burger: an indulgent number comprising grilled beef patty, pan-seared foie gras, and half a lobster. If you’re visiting the Jewel outlet, there’s the Saffron Aioli Lobster Roll, which comes with caviar, fresh chunks of steamed lobster, and a fragrant saffron dressing.

4. Black Marble

Tucked in Holland Village, Black Marble is a farm-to-table steakhouse started by celebrity chef Otto Weibel. The cosy dining space features elegant marble tables and sleek chairs, alongside floor-to-ceiling windows for ample natural light.

Enjoy a four-course Valentine’s Day dinner or lunch set, only available for dine-in on 13 and 14 February 2022. The set is priced at $168++ per couple, which means you’re paying $84++ per person. Cheers with two complimentary glasses of Prosecco, and then savour your choice of starter: Oyster and Scallop Tartare or Warm Angel Hair Pasta with Pan Seared Scallop. For mains, the Valentine’s Surf & Turf sharing platter consists of a whole lobster thermidor, accompanied by chargrilled Wagyu tri-tip with truffle sauce.

5. Senshi Sushi & Grill

Contemporary Japanese buffet restaurant Senshi Sushi & Grill is rolling out an eight-course omakase menu for the first time on 14 February 2022. Do book fast, as this one-day-only menu only has 20 seats available!

The extensive menu is affordably priced at $68++ per person, but you can also go all out with the sake and wine pairing by topping up $20++. Some of the highlights include Hoyogo oyster paired with ikura and yuzu jelly, Chilean sea bass grilled over binchōtan, and a simmered dish of foie gras with braised dashi daikon.

Andaz Singapore‘s all-day dining restaurant, located on the 25th floor of the hotelAlley on 25 is rolling out a special Valentine’s Day menu, available only on 14 February 2022, from 6pm to 10:30pm. The airy and spacious restaurant, located on the 25th floor of the hotel, is an ideal pick if you’re looking for a casual yet chic Valentine’s Day restaurant.

The four-course dinner, priced at $88++ per person, includes a glass of bubbly each and your choice of main: Oven-Baked Fjord Trout, Roasted Duck Breast, or the meat-free Mushroom Risotto with shavings of black truffle. To cap off the indulgent meal, sink your teeth into the Manjari Cremeux Chocolate Cake, served with fresh raspberries and cacao nibs.  Take things up a notch with a bottle of Delamotte Champagne, priced at $120++.

From 9 to 16 February 2022, pinkies up with the exclusive Valentine’s Day High Tea ($78++ per person), which treats you and bae to a spread of bite-sized sweet and savoury treats, from foie gras with shiso and plum jam in between beet buns, to yuzu vanilla macarons and scones.
