Christmas is officially 23 days away, and VivoCity is the one place to put on your list to get all your festive errands sorted at once. Whether it’s that final rush for presents, getting your party groceries, or simply have a celebratory meal with your friends and loved ones, the mall has got your back. To make it even sweeter, VivoCity has lots of feasting deals and vouchers worth up to $90 when you have a meal here!
Located in Basement One is Cafe Q Classified (#B1-02), a purple-themed cafe decked in wisteria and whimsical florals━perfect for your girlfriends’ day out or to give the ladies in your fam a treat. The Christmas special here comes as a $58.80++ set per diner, starting with a Cream of Pumpkin Chestnut Soup. Then, there’s Roasted Pork Roulade with Sage Stuffing, complete with shatteringly crackling skin, or Q Roast Chicken.
Along with the set, you’ll get Chocolate Lava Cake, dressed with crumbled Christmas fruit cake, with vanilla ice cream on the side. To top it off, there’s a Signature Virgin Mulled Sangria: a hot tea perfumed with cranberry, and zhnged-up with cinnamon for that Christmassy feel.
If your dining buddies are fans of American BBQ, Morganfield’s (#01-51A) is your best bet. The Morgan’s Christmas Feast ($159.90++) is a platter for a cosy party of three to four, and stars their bestselling barbecued ribs in seasonal flavours: Chestnut Sticky Bones and Cranberry Sticky Ribs.
Exclusive to their VivoCity outlet is an early bird dine-in special, where this feasting platter is now going at 10% off till 11 December! The massive, fall-off-the-bone ribs are accompanied by a veritable buffet of other meats, including Crackling Pork Roast, Grilled Sausages and Gammon Ham. To balance out that indulgence, there’s perfectly roasted pumpkin, cauliflower, potatoes, as well as garden salad, Mexican Grilled Corn, and their bestselling Corn Bread!
For some fancy rooftop dining, head to Marché Mövenpick (#03-14) on the third floor. The festive treats here are aplenty, with options including a hearty Chestnut and Bacon Soup ($8.90) or Pulled Turkey Crepe ($23.90) that is spread with cranberry cream cheese, and folded in with pulled turkey.
The Squid Ink Pasta ($24.90) is a sight to behold, with its fiery red seafood Arrabbiata sauce contrasted against the ink-dark, handmade squid ink spaghetti. It comes laden with fleshy red prawns and a medley of seafood too! Otherwise, consider ordering a Pan-Seared Salmon ($27.90), drizzled over with house-made Grenobloise sauce.
Stick around the counter when you order a Swiss Rosti Flambé ($26.90) to watch the chefs set your potato pancake on fire, melting the cheddar and charring the pastrami to ultra tasty ends.
Never mind if you can’t fly to Germany for Christmas markets, because Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant (#01-149) flies Winterfest to you! Tag up to six of your beer-guzzling buds, because the Winterfest Highlight ($230++) comes with a whole three-litre keg of Erdinger Schneeweisse or Köstritzer Pale Ale.
Then you have the Winterfestplatter, which comes with crispy pork knuckle, Berliner Eisbein, AKA simmered pork knuckle, duck leg confit, a selection of premium sausages, red cabbage, sauerkraut, and a potato salad!
Overlooking the waterfront, you have Barossa Steak & Grill, presenting a three-course lunch set menu priced from $48++, available from 11:30am to 3pm daily. Start with a Butternut Squash Soup, or opt for one of two salads, and then choose a main course: Maple Glazed Smoked Ham, or Risotto Cacio E Pepe, a meat-free option.
Top up $10++ for Josper Roasted Beef as your main, for a hefty cut of medium-rare beef, alongside Yorkshire pudding, and roasted honey carrot and parsnip, and Brussels sprouts. Finish it off with the all-time favourite Sticky Date Pudding, served with brûléed banana and a Bailey’s butterscotch sauce.
Barossa Steak & Grill at VivoCity has festive takeaways too, including Marmite & Shoyu Glazed Ribs ($88+), served with truffle fries and a miso purple slaw. Pair this with a Whole Roast Barramundi ($68+), or a Roasted Herb Sakura Chicken ($48+) with chestnut pork stuffing and onion gravy. If you’ve got a bigger gathering, then the Slow Roasted Angus OP Ribs ($388+) is a 3kg hunk of beef, while the Bone-In Honey Glazed Gammon Ham ($238+) is good for up to 10.
These festive dining deals aren’t the only sweet things about celebrating Christmas at VivoCity━be one of the first 110 shoppers to spend a minimum of $180 in two same-day receipts each weekday, or the first 230 a day on weekends and public holidays, and you’ll get to redeem a store voucher worth up to $50! And if you’re a DBS PayLah! user who’s linked your account to your VivoRewards+ membership, you’ll get to redeem an additional $10 Mapletree voucher too. This is limited to the first 70 shoppers a day on weekdays, and 130 shoppers each day on weekends and public holidays.
There’s a gift wrapper set to be redeemed too, on top of the bonus $10 Mapletree voucher if you spend at least $280━only if you’re one of the first 160 shoppers each weekday, and 240 shoppers a day on weekends and public holidays! Terms and conditions apply, and you’ll have to hold a valid VivoRewards+ membership account for all redemptions.
