Located at The Plaza, at Basement One of the mall, the fair is open daily from 11am to 10pm. Come down hungry, and dig into a range of familiar and unique Taiwanese street eats.
For starters, you can get the popular deep-fried sweet potato balls from OMG, a pasar malam business that specialises in these addictive, mochi-like snacks.Â

For something savoury, get your hands on dan bing, also known as Taiwanese egg roll pancakes. These feature a thin popiah skin, an omelette, and fillings such as pork floss, all rolled up together.Â

You can’t call it a Taiwanese feast without getting your hands on a huge Taiwanese crispy chicken cutlet. The stall here sells quite the range of flavours, from honey glazed to spicy cutlets, all from just $5.50.

There’s also a stall selling grilled giant oyster mushrooms, a night market staple.

For sweets, there’s a stall selling crepes, filled with marshmallows, chocolate, and other sugary fillings. If that’s not up your alley, then get the ice cream rolls instead. This is another popular night market sweet treat, where you get your choice of ice cream rolled up with toppings such as mini marshmallows.

To quench your thirst, grab a drink from Bung Lemon Tea. They’re known for their unique hand-muddled, shaken lemon teas with unique ingredients, such as bittergourd.Â
Also available at the night market is a cooking activity, known as Mini Chef, designed for the little ones, as well as fun game booths and shopping kiosks to keep the kiddos entertained.

Adults can also get in on the fun beyond just the food, as the Taiwan Night Market will host live performances by local acts, only at 7pm on 10 May and 11 May!
