Fried chicken is easily one of the best kinds of fried food, with crispy, golden skin and juicy chicken meat. If you’re a fried chicken lover, here’s a new stall to look out for—Winner’s Fried Chicken, a popular fried chicken brand that hails from Malaysia. This stall is set to open on 14 April, located in a food court opposite Alexandra Food Village.
For those uninitiated to this fried chicken brand, they started out as a hawker stall in the ‘80s, and grew to become a licensed distributor for aspiring fried chicken hawkers. These franchise hawkers operate under the brand’s name, using the same flour and recipe that they’re so well-loved for.

This new stall is the brand’s first venture in Singapore. Take a pick of your favourite chicken parts, be it the Chicken Thigh ($2.50), Chicken Drumstick ($2.80), or Chicken Wings ($3). These are said to be crispy and well-seasoned, where you can taste the distinct spices in their marinade.

If you’re here with a friend, consider the Spring Chicken With Fries ($9.50) to share, served with fries for a dose of carbs alongside your meat. There are also solo portions available, such as the Half Spring Chicken With Fries ($5) and the Chicken Wing Set ($5), which comes with four chicken wings and a serving of fries. To accompany your meal, opt for sides such as Coleslaw ($2.50) and Indomie ($1.20).
