Xian Dan Chao Ren To Open In Pasir Ris With Mala Salted Egg Fries And More

Xian Dan Chao Ren at White Sands

Come 22 March 2022, Xian Dan Chao Ren will be opening their third store at White Sands Shopping Mall. Located right next to Pasir Ris MRT Station, you can now get your salted egg fix if you live in the East, without travelling too far!

Be sure to get the Lotus Roots ($4.90), which make for a crispy snack more addictive than regular potato chips. Fried with curry leaves and chilli padi, and dusted with salted egg crumble,  each slice of lotus root is superbly umami and spicy.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Grilled Chicken Frankfurter Bun, which is a new item exclusive to the White Sands outlet. This hotdog bun with chicken and salted egg mayonnaise will be available for $5.90 during the opening promotion.

If you also like mala, Mala Fries with Salted Egg Sauce ($4.90) is another new item that will certainly appeal to you. Expect crispy crinkle-cut fries seasoned with mala powder, which are perfect for dipping in Xian Dan Chao Ren’s signature creamy salted egg sauce.

The White Sands outlet will also mark Xian Dan Chao Ren’s first exclusive collaboration with Butler Koffee. Wash down the decadent salted egg dishes with an Elder and Cream Black Tea ($8), perfumed by elderflowers and tinged with the natural tartness of elderberries. The black tea is also available as part of the Combo Meal ($12.90), which gets you the classic Xian Dan Chao Ren Chicken alongside rice, and a sunny side up.
