Average Service x B For Bagel: Maple Bacon Bagel, Matcha Makgeolli And More In Jalan Besar

Average Service and B For Bagel collab to launch new menu

This November, B for Bagel from Seoul and Singapore’s Average Service have teamed up for a limited-time collaboration. From 3 November to 30 November 2025, the two brands are offering a special menu exclusively available at the Jalan Besar cafe.

We were lucky enough to get first dibs on the launch—here’s what you can expect!

The Maple Bacon Bagel ($21++) is a standout on the menu, featuring Average Service’s signature maple-glazed bacon, creamy scrambled eggs, and a buttered bagel.

This was a unanimous favourite at our table. The sweet-savoury combination of the bacon slabs, soft scrambled eggs, and chewy bagel made for a satisfying and well-balanced bite.

For something simpler, consider the Butter My Bagel ($11++), which stars a salt bread bagel paired with three types of house-made butter: chilli, furikake, and truffle.

The furikake butter was a standout for its deep, umami flavour, which complemented the salty shio pan-inspired bagel.

If you’re craving something sweet, the Whip My Bagel ($14++) is sure to satisfy. This dessert features a caramelised bagel with honey butter, sandwiching a generous portion of whipped cream. We enjoyed the crispy, sugary bagel, but found the cream a bit too jelak to finish.

In addition to the bagels, the drinks menu offers unique choices such as the Latte with Dalgona Cold Foam ($7.50++) and Matcha Latte with Dalgona Cold Foam ($7.50++), each topped with fluffy cold foam for an extra layer of creaminess. I preferred the latter, as the earthy matcha notes paired better with the sweet foam.

For a refreshing twist, try the Honey Matcha Makgeolli ($18++), a unique cocktail that nods to traditional Korean rice wine. Infused with matcha and honey, it offers a sweet and satisfying ending to your meal.

The B for Bagel x Average Service pop-up runs until the end of November, and it’s definitely worth a visit for bagel lovers looking to try something new and exciting.
