Hailing from Gangnam, Seoul, Korean bagel brand B For Bagel first reached our shores in 2022 at Tanglin Mall. Ever since, they have expanded to Great World, and recently to Parkway Parade! Unlike the dine-in concept at Tanglin Mall, their two latest outlets operate like takeaway kiosks.Â
Bagels are not always about smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. At B For Bagel, you get a range of delicious spreads such as Green Onion Cream Cheese ($7.90).
This chewy sesame bagel comes loaded with cream cheese and chopped green onions— several online reviews have touted this to be their favourite flavour. The addition of scallions is said to temper the richness of the thick cream cheese!Â

Cream bread is a huge thing in Korea, which probably explains why Milk Cream Cloud ($8.30) was added to the menu. Here, you get a huge pile of milk cream sandwiched between a bagel! It may seem a little intimidating to eat at first but don’t worry, as the milk cream is said to be pillowy soft.
For something more familiar, get their Garlic Cream Cheese ($6.90). We recommend heating it for a minute or so before eating it to enjoy a winning combination of melted garlic cream cheese with a crispy bagel! If cream cheese isn’t your jam, opt for the Walnut Berry Bagel ($5.90) or Potato Cheese ($6.90) instead.
They also have a locally inspired Coconut Kaya Butter ($6.90)Â bagel that comes with a thick slab of butter and Hainanese kaya in the middle, sandwiched by a coconut-topped bagel.
Make your way down as early as possible as we were told that their bagels have been selling out pretty fast!
Also, while you’re there, try their baked-to-order Korean coin bread, available only from now till 24 March!
