This Ben & Jerry’s x Sourbombe Bakery Collab Has New Ice Cream And Doughnut Flavours

Ben & Jerry’s X Sourbombe Bakery

Just two weeks ago, we wrote about Sourbombe Bakery opening their latest outlet in Jewel Changi Airport with new menu items; now, they’ve launched three new doughnut flavours inspired by everyone’s favourite ice cream brand: Ben & Jerry’s, and their two new ice cream flavours.

Before diving into the inspired doughnuts, you might want to familiarise yourself with Ben & Jerry’s two latest ice cream offerings: Dublin Mudslide ($13.90) and Chewy Gooey Cookie ($13.90).

The former is an Irish cream-spiked dessert, mixed in with double chocolate chip cookies and swirled through with coffee fudge.

Accordingly, Sourbombe Bakery’s creation is aptly coined Dublin’ Down, where their fluffy sourdough doughnut is piped full of coffee-Kahlua mousse, then dipped in a dark chocolate glaze and sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts to finish.

Then, there’s Ben & Jerry’s Chewy Gooey Cookie ice cream—with both milk chocolate and coconut ice creams, caramel swirls, fudge flakes, and shortbread cookies.

Pair this ice cream with its Sourbombe interpretation, Gooey Glory: a bombe filled with milk chocolate mousse and drizzled with a coconut caramel glaze, with mini shortbread cookies atop!

The bonus Sourbombe Bakery creation is Brûlée Hooray, which sees a whipped vanilla bean custard centre and candied caramel glaze that simply commemorates Ben & Jerry’s.

Available for a limited time only—from now till 13 August 2022—these three doughnuts can only be ordered online at Sourbombe Bakery as a set of three for $15.50. You can opt for self-collection at the outlet, or get them delivered for $10 islandwide.

The ice creams are not going to be permanent additions to the Ben & Jerry’s line-up too. These pints will only be available at leading supermarkets, foodpanda, Grab, and Redmart for an unspecified duration, or while stocks last. Look out also for Grab- and FairPrice-exclusive discounts and redemptions too!

If you’re looking for other alcoholic ice creams, check out KL-famous The Ice Cream Bar, now with a second location at 313 Somerset. There’s also PEPERO ice cream bars at FairPrice that reimagines the popular chocolate-coated stick as an ice cream stick!
