Not too long ago, we wrote about Bouef in Telok Ayer running a $48++ free-flow steak deal, and the steakhouse has just launched yet another meal deal for all you steak lovers out there: a $99++, four-course Wagyu meal for two that’s available all day on weekdays!
Your first course is a substantial platter starring the restaurant’s signature Burratina Di Puglia, for a whole burrata nestled on fresh salad greens and drizzled with sticky balsamic vinegar. This is paired with lightly roasted cherry tomatoes still on the vine, and slices of garlic powder-toasted baguette.
Follow that up with an ultra indulgent Wagyu Beef Bourguignon, full of super tender, fall-apart Wagyu beef cheek chunks in a red wine sauce. This sous-vide stew is layered on creamy mash potatoes—a great accompaniment for the rich gravy.
Since Wagyu beef cheeks are used here, you can expect extra-flavourful meat, with sticky, slightly gelatinous streaks running through each hefty piece.
If that wasn’t enough Wagyu, move on to the third course of Australian Stockyard F1 Wagyu Picanha, served with torched roasted garlic, and burned rosemary for an aromatic finish. This cut sees Australian Wagyu sirloin cap with a marbling score of six: which makes for a meaty bite.
With a top up of $39++, you can choose to upgrade the steak to Japanese Iwate F1 Wagyu Sirloin, served with sauteed zucchini, a celeriac mash, and Kampot pepper jus. A 50% hybrid of Black Angus and Japanese Wagyu, this steak is a happy middle ground of meatiness and fat.
The most atas upgrade on this menu is a $69++ top-up, which gets you Japanese Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Sirloin, for melt-in-your-mouth, premium fatty Wagyu.
Finally, end the meal with Boeuf Dessert Platter, which comes with a classic French creme brulee, a selection of macarons, as well as squares of dark chocolate mini brownies.
Made in-house with a light, silky base and a layer of crackling caramelised sugar, the creme brulee is a fitting finale to the meal. P.S. if you come for this Wagyu set, you’ll get to order off a secret wine menu that’s got 90-pointer-and-above wines at discounted prices!
If you’re on the hunt for steak, check out Bochinche’s $60++ free-flow steak promotion. Otherwise, just a few doors down from Boeuf is SODENG Korean Restaurant, which is Singapore’s first KBBQ duck restaurant!
