Casa Vostra fans in the East are in luck, as the Italian restaurant is arriving at Tampines Mall! You’ll be able to enjoy its popular pizzas and pastas when it officially opens on 15 May 2026. Expect long queues and much fanfare to follow, especially since there will be new dishes to try at this outlet in the East.

For the uninitiated, Casa Vostra opened at Raffles City in July 2024 to plenty of buzz. Chef Antonio Miscellaneo’s pizzas still draw long queues, and the hype hasn’t slowed, even after an outlet opened at JEM as well. But this Tampines outlet is interesting, because it’s where an exciting collaboration with Rome-based chef Luciano Monosilio, widely known as Italy’s ‘King of Carbonara’, will be launched. Chef Luciano is currently the chef-owner of Luciano Cucina Italiana in Rome, a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant.

The Tampines menu will have two new carbonara items as part of this collaboration, available from 26 May. The first is Chef Luciano’s Carbonara Spaghetti ($21++), Chef Luciano’s signature interpretation of the Roman classic. The classic elements of authentic carbonara are all here, such as guanciale, pecorino, egg yolk, and spaghetti.

There’s also the Tagliolini ai Cardoncelli (price TBD), a pasta dish made with cardoncelli mushrooms, garlic, olive oil, parsley and chilli.

Aside from Chef Luciano’s collaboration, Casa Vostra Tampines will also debut six outlet-exclusive dishes.

But of course, their signature pizzas will also be available at Tampines. These come in three categories: Newpolitan Red, Newpolitan White, and Doublecrunch. The Newpolitan Red range features a tomato-based sauce, while the Newpolitan White pizzas lean on a creamier cheese base. For something different, the Doublecrunch pizzas are sandwich-style, with fillings tucked between two layers of pizza dough.

The restaurant’s signatures include the Gamberi ($28++) and Tartufo e Funghi ($28++). The former comes on a Newpolitan Red base topped with Argentinian prawns, while the latter pairs fresh black truffle and mushrooms with a generous drizzle of truffle oil. Another ‘za worth trying is the Acciughe ($20++), featuring anchovies on a Neapolitan White base. The briny fish pairs well with olives and yellow tomatoes, creating a balanced mix of savoury and tangy flavours.

Those who crave pasta can try the Mamma’s Aglio e Olio ($15++), which is a hearty take on the classic aglio olio, featuring the strong umami flavour of sundried tomatoes. The pasta is perfectly al dente with a firm bite, and showcases how a dish’s simplicity can be its strong suit.
