After Selling 600 Million Cups A Year, CHAGEE’s Signature Jasmine Green Milk Tea Is Getting A Makeover

Last year, Eatbook paid a visit to CHAGEE in the name of community service: trying every single drink on their menu. After working their way through dozens of brews, our hosts came to a unanimous conclusion: the Jasmine Green Milk Tea stood out as one of the best. That verdict is no surprise, considering CHAGEE sells a staggering 600 million cups of it every year.

Why is the Jasmine Green Milk Tea so popular? Well, the answer lies in the international tea brand’s belief in no shortcuts.

The BO•YA  in the name pays homage to an ancient Chinese guqin player of the same name. Skilled as he was, Bo Ya felt that the masses could not understand his music and the meaning behind his melodies until he met Zhong Zhiqi, a woodcutter. 

Ziqi was the first who truly grasped the emotions and imagery behind Bo Ya’s playing, describing the music as towering like mountains and flowing like rivers. Bo Ya and Ziqi’s connection encapsulates what it means to forge a true connection with someone else.
