Chopstix & Rice has a new Indonesian buffet at Suntec

If you’re a fan of Indonesian fare and looking to satisfy your cravings for the rich and spice-laden dishes that define the cuisine, then you’re in luck, because Chopstix & Rice just introduced their first-ever Indonesian A La Carte Dinner Buffet for just $35.90. And FYI: OCBC, DBS, UOB, and CityBank credit card holders can enjoy 20% off their meal. If you do the math, that’s just $28.72 per person!

From 1 July 2025, diners can look forward to a spread of 25 authentic Indonesian dishes. For proteins, choose from the likes of their signature Beef Rendang, Ayam Goreng Belado, Ayam Kari, or Ayam Masak Merah. 

When we tried their Beef Rendang, we were impressed by how easily the meat came off its bone. Taste-wise, it was not gamey at all, with the rendang boasting a fragrant lemongrass aroma.

As for the Ayam Goreng Belado, it comes generously coated in their house-made sambal belado, a sweet-tangy chilli that carries a serious kick of spice.

Seafood lovers, try their Udang Sambal AKA prawn in Indonesian chilli sauce. Otherwise, their Assam Pedas Ikan Pari is a spicy-tangy dish with fresh fish, tomatoes, and lady’s fingers.

For veggies, go straight for their award-winning Sayur Lodeh: mixed vegetables cooked in fragrant coconut curry.

Otherwise, opt for the Lady’s Finger Belado or the Sambal Tempeh, if you enjoy tofu dishes.

Brinjal lovers, try their Eggplant Belado: soft and sweet eggplant topped with the same tangy chilli sauce.

Round off your meal with their free-flow ice cream. If not, wash down the grease with their refreshing free-flow Iced Calamansi or Iced Bandung.

Chopstix & Rice is located at Basement 1 of Suntec City. For easy access, it’s a short five-minute walk through the mall from Esplanade or Promenade MRT Station.
