What sets this restaurant apart from other typical zi char places is their service—here, customers can get free tidbits such as popcorn, ice cream, cotton candy, and even house-made tau huay. What’s more, those who opt for delivery can get free satay if they order more than $50!

Some must-try seafood dishes include their Sri Lankan Crabs (seasonal price) and Prawns (from $22++). Customers can choose their preferred cooking style for the former: think chilli crab, salted egg crab, and even cheese crab.

Otherwise, you can also try the signature Bi Feng Tang Wok Fried Prawn ($22++), a unique dish consisting of prawns stir-fried with garlic, ginger, chilli, and breadcrumbs.

Besides seafood, Chuan Kee Restaurant also has other protein options, such as their Special Sauce Pork Ribs ($10++) and Nyonya Pork ($13++). If you prefer something spicy, the Deep Fried Diced Chicken with Dried Chilli ($12++) comes highly recommended.

The zi char restaurant has two outlets island-wide, both being approximately a 16-minute walk from Tiong Bahru MRT Station and Toa Payoh MRT Stations
