This New Serangoon Cafe Has Handmade Pasta, Crab Croissant And More

Clovelly has fresh pasta and all-day brunch in Lorong Chuan

Cafe lovers, where you at! If you live in Serangoon, here’s some great news: Clovelly, taking over the former premises of Wimbly Lu, has now joined the slew of cafes in Serangoon! You can expect to find a well-rounded menu with many seafood items, handcrafted pastas, all-day brunch menu items, delicious desserts, and drinks here!

Great for the ‘gram, Clovelly boasts a stylish, industrial vibe featuring red brick walls and plenty of natural light. This hidden gem is located just a 10-minute stroll from Lorong Chuan MRT Station or a 17-minute walk from Serangoon MRT Station.

Starting with the mains, a must-try is the Crab On Crab ($24.90++) pasta, which comes with their handmade gemelli pasta, similar to fusilli, in a creamy white wine sauce enriched with butter and garlic. It’s then topped with a whole soft shell crab. For those seeking a vegetarian alternative, the Mushroom Pesto ($19.90++) is an excellent choice too.

If you prefer other pasta styles, Clovelly offers handcrafted mafalde AKA little queens, spaghetti, and linguine as well.

For something light to savour, consider exploring their all-day brunch menu items. One standout choice is the Crab Croissant Florentine ($22.90++), featuring a buttery croissant filled with crab meat, baby spinach, and a runny egg, all lightly drizzled with a tangy hollandaise sauce.

To share, go for their Calamari Rings ($11.90++), comprising crispy and chewy squid rings served with a side of salad and a lemon mayo dipping sauce. Another popular pick is the Honey Tater Tots ($9.90++).
