Here’s one more reason for everyone to head to Jewel Changi Airport: Don Don Donki is opening their 15th store in Singapore in Basement One of the airport megamall! Touted to be one of their biggest spaces on our little island, this aviation-themed outlet will be opening next week, on 20 December 2022.
That’s not all there is to look forward to at this new outlet. Don Don Donki at Jewel will have a refreshed hot food line-up, with their newest joint, Senraku Deli, set to offer customised bento sets.
Agedako Fried Octopus Ball is yet another stall to check out next week. Here, you’ll find freshly made takoyaki for sale, alongside premium onigiri from Tomita Seimai, which handmakes the rice balls every day with freshly milled rice.
More made-to-order food you can expect include sushi from SEN SEN Sushi, which you can accompany with exclusive-to-Don Don Donki sake labels.
One of the latest of Don Don Donki’s ready-to-eat options is their Aburi Terimayo Oyster Bento, which stars more than 10 plump, torched Japanese oysters on a bed of short-grain rice, and glazed in a teriyaki-mayonnaise sauce. It’s not clear if this bento will be available at the upcoming Jewel store, but that’s one item to keep an eye out for!

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, then the Strawberry Rare Cheese mochi sandwich dessert is a sugary treat to hunt down when you visit.
Yet more to check out is their updated grocery range, with more than 100 types of halal Japanese products including drinks, snacks, noodles, and sauces—the first such store in Singapore to be stocking these.
Jurong-siders, check out Don Don Donki’s Jurong Point store with its made-to-order sushi kiosk if Changi’s too far away for you. If you’re a dessert fan, we’ve gotchu with our list of the best DDDK desserts to get when you visit any of their stores!
