Dona Manis Cake Shop Has Pop-Up With Creamier In Orchard Till 14 Oct

Dona Manis Cake Shop has pop-up at Takashimaya

If you love Dona Manis Cake Shop‘s famous banana pie, here’s a piece of good news. The bakery has a limited-time pop-up at Takashimaya, so you won’t have to travel down to Katong for your sweet tooth fix! That’s not all: this pop-up is a collaboration with homegrown dessert brand Creamier, which means you can pair your pies and tarts with a scoop of ice cream here.

The famous banana pie shop revealed the launch of its Orchard pop-up in an Instagram post on 2 October 2024. The store is slated to run daily until 14 October 2024, from 10am to 9:30pm. We recommend heading down earlier as the queues have been long since the word got out!

You can get their Signature Original Banana Pie here at $5.50 per slice or $10 for two—at Dona Manis Katong, the same pie retails for $3.50 per slice.

It’s said to be buttery and crisp, packed with chunks of sweet banana. As the pies are first baked at the Katong outlet, then finished in the oven at Takashimaya, you’ll be getting them warm too!

Besides the famed banana pie, they also have Chocolate Banana Pie (price TBD) and Apple Crumble ($8), the latter of which comes in a four-inch round. You can add on a scoop of Creamier ice cream at an additional fee; we’ll update once we get more information on the flavours and prices.

Besides pies, you’ll also find the popular Chocolate Tarts, Lemon Curd Tartlets, Rum Balls, and Mini Coconut Tarts here. Prices are TBD, so stay tuned for our update!

In other food news, Joji’s Diner has just opened a new cafe right next door, called Joji’s Sandwich Parlour! The sandwich shop, which opens 24 hours daily, sports the same retro look as its sister diner.
