It’s that time of the year again: the FairPrice Durian Buffet is back! This year’s edition is held at the FairPrice Xtra outlets in JEM and VivoCity, where you can feast on as many durians as you want within a 60-minute time limit.

There are two price points for this buffet. The more affordable one, priced at $65 per person, lets you feast on the following durians: Red Prawn, D101, D13, and Kampung. The $85 per person option, meanwhile, gets you Musang King, Pahang Gold Tree Mao Shan Wang, Black Gold and more.

The buffet runs from now till 27 July 2025 for the JEM outlet, and now till 3 August 2025 for the VivoCity branch. Do note that buffet sessions start from 2pm each day. There’s also a $10 off early bird promo till 10 July 2025, so be sure to book ASAP through this link, or directly at the two outlets!

If you’re looking for your durian fix at any time of the day, however, check out Kaki Kaki Durian‘s vending machine. Operating 24 hours a day, the durians here are specially sealed and restocked daily for optimum freshness. You can read more about them in our Kaki Kaki Durian coverage.

Those who enjoy durian-based desserts can check out our Sweet Dots coverage—this is a Tanjong Pagar cafe that offers Mao Shan Wang durian mousse!  In other unrelated content, read our Johor Bahru cafe guide if you’re crossing the border for a quick getaway. This guide features the best coffee and brunch spots within 30 minutes by car from the JB customs.
