Easties who happen to be durian fans are in luck: tomorrow, 21 January 2025, a vending machine at Tampines MRT Station will begin offering fresh Mao Shan Wang durians! This marks the third installation from Kaki Kaki Durian, with existing units at Parc Oasis Clubhouse and 11 Sembawang Crescent.

A packet of durians, which weighs around 400g, will set you back $38, with an opening promotion of $18.88 should you purchase it from 24 January to 12 February 2025. They are specially sealed and restocked daily for optimum freshness. Furthermore, Kaki Kaki Durian ensures nothing goes to waste by transforming unsold durians into puree for cakes—because when it’s good durian, every bit counts!

Kaki Kaki’s Mao Shan Wang durians are known for their golden flesh, rich sweetness, and creamy texture. They can be purchased at the three vending machines, or you can get them delivered to your doorstep via the brand’s online page. During the same promotional period as the $18.88 deal—that’s 24 January to 12 February 2025—every three boxes ordered are guaranteed a win in the Kaki Kaki Ang Pow Box Giveaway, where you can earn prizes worth up to $500!

Interestingly, this launch coincides with another interesting vending machine concept—Butter Town’s shio pan ATM. Located at Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre, Japanese salted bread is delivered to the vending machine at 12:30pm and 5pm each day, with unsold items cleared by 8pm.
