To me, a bowl of ramyeon is more than just a meal—it’s a warm embrace on a cold night, a remedy for late-night cravings, and a nice reward after a long day. So when I heard about FairPrice Finest Centrepoint’s new DIY ramen bar, I knew I had to try it for myself.

FYI: DIY instant noodle stores aren’t new to Singapore; previously, we’ve covered similar concepts such as Slurp Mee and Midnight Noodle Club.

You’ll find a display of almost 10 instant noodle flavours here. Prices start from $2.50, and brands featured include the viral Samyang Buldak ramen, Nongshim’s classic Shin Ramyun, and Kamjatangmyun ramen.

After picking your ramyeon flavour, you can choose from a variety of add-ons including cheese tofu, mini sausages, pork balls, cabbage, luncheon meat, eggs, and even raw meat slices.

After making payment, head over to the ramen bar’s hot water dispenser where you can customise the amount of water in your bowl depending on the ramen brand.

If you prefer your ramen dry, sieves are up for use in the mini kitchen. Plus, cutlery is also provided at the dine-in area, so you won’t need to pay extra for disposable utensils!

Once you’ve crafted your perfect bowl of ramyeon, sit back and enjoy the warm ambience at Fairprice Finest’s dine-in space.
