Frankie & Fern’s: New Rooftop Cafe In Holland Village With Cosy Vibes That Reminds Us Of Korea

Frankie & Fern’s is a new rooftop brunch cafe in Holland Village

From the Scandi-style aesthetics in Lola’s Cafe to the modernised Chinatown-feel of the interior design in Keong Saik Bakery, Holland Village is no short of aesthetic cafes for brunch. A new contender has just joined: Frankie & Fern’s is a rooftop cafe situated on the top floor of Holland Road Shopping Centre, offering a full view of the neighbourhood and scrumptious brunch items till 4pm.

Order the Frankie’s Breakfast ($26++) for an ideal brunch. This massive platter has all the breakfast essentials: scrambled egg, portobello mushrooms, sausage and bacon. But their accompaniments have a special twist, including rosemary-pickled tomatoes, and wilted kale with crumbled feta.

The cafe has only soft launched so far, but they are already receiving outpouring reviews about the Roasted Short Ribs Toast ($22++). This comes with juicy and meaty slices of beef short ribs, along with chilli-pickled cucumber, provolone, chimichurri and Russian dressing—which is mainly a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup.

If you missed brunch, fret not as the cafe offers quality lunch and dinner items as well. Many love the Woodfired Chicken which is a main course option as part of their Lunch Set ($35++). This set comes with a choice of starter and for an extra $5++, you get to pick a dessert too. The woodfire chicken comes with sundried tomato pesto and charred spring onion! This dish is also available in a large sharing plate during dinner at $28++

This is the ideal place for a romantic date or just a chill location to TGIF with your friends. As it is a rooftop cafe, you know that the vibes will be immaculate! Adorned with a wooden interior, Frankie & Fern’s also reminds us of minimalist cafes in Seoul
