Gardenia has a bread plushie giveaway for SG60

Singapore turns 60 this year—a milestone that shows just how far we’ve come. A homegrown brand that’s been part of this journey is Gardenia, which has been around since 1978. In light of SG60, Gardenia is giving away 60 adorable bread plushies in three different designs and launching two new loaf flavours.

The giveaway includes an exclusive Gardenia mascot keychain plushie in three unique expressions, aptly named Kissy, Smiley, and Winky. A total of 60 plushies will be given away through a social media contest on their Instagram account, which ends on 9 August 2025.

All you have to do is follow four simple steps, all stated on their Instagram giveaway post. There’s fun in winning a giveaway, but we hope these adorable bread plushies will roll out in stores, too!

As you participate in Gardenia’s plushie giveaway, don’t forget to check out their new loaf flavours. Many are excited for the Chocolate Royale Loaf (price TBD), with some netizens sharing that it reminds them of the discontinued Bonjour Choc Chip Loaf, which phased out around five years ago.

You can expect Gardenia’s Chocolate Royale Loaf to be soft and airy, finished with generous dark chocolate chips for added texture and sweetness.

If chocolate isn’t your jam, we recommend their Thick Toast Brioche Loaf (price TBD) instead; this premium toast is made using creamy Hokkaido butter to achieve an extra pillowy texture. We don’t know if these two new flavours are permanent items, so head to your nearest supermarket and snag them before they are wiped from the shelves.

In related news, check out Mr Merlion’s Jellycat Diner-inspired pop-ups taking place on 9 August and 10 August at Changi Airport. Alternatively, find out more about Cassia Caneles’ blind boxes, where you get the traditional French pastry delivered in cute blind boxes.
