Halal ramen is hard to find in Singapore; we find it a pity that we can’t bring our Muslim friends to new ramen spots such as Nakiryu’s first outlet in Vivocity, and Ramen-ya, a hidden ramen spot in Bedok. But now, you can invite them to Godaime, a ramen restaurant serving Muslim-friendly maze soba at Changi City Point and The Centrepoint.

One of their signature dishes is the Aburi Chicken Maze Soba ($11.90++). It features dry ramen topped with chunky pieces of char-grilled chicken and an onsen egg. You can also choose the sauce for your noodles: Original, Black or Red. The latter is a piquant sauce with spice levels ranging from one to three.

Alternatively, try the crowd favourite Chicken Cutlet Maze Soba ($11.90++) that comes with a large piece of deep-fried chicken!

Instead of ordering the noodles a la carte, we recommend getting them in a set meal for a greater value! There’s the Aburi Chicken Maze Soba Set ($15.90++) which includes a drink such as Iced Lemon Tea or Houji Tea. As part of the set, you can also choose one out of four different side dishes: Fried Chicken, Chicken Gyoza, Fried Tofu, or Edamame.
If you are craving more Muslim-friendly noodles, check out DumPrince Dumpling House at Chinatown Point serving collagen chicken la mian. Otherwise, read our guide to the best halal cafes in Singapore for souffle pancakes and ondeh waffles!
