Taking over Teafolia’s space at Tampines MRT is Taiwanese BBT brand, Gong Cha! To celebrate their opening today, they will be giving 1-for-1 drinks from now until 14 September 2019.

The deal starts from 12pm today, and will be limited to the first 99 customers each day. The 1-for-1 deal starts with Brown Sugar Earl Grey Milk Tea With Coffee Jelly ($4.50)—a best-seller amongst Gong Cha fans for its floral and sweet notes. Divide it by two, and you will only need to fork out $2.25, if you’re sharing with a friend.

If you’re only reading this at 5pm on 12 September, chances are you missed the deal. Don’t fret though, as you can still get it at a cheaper price at $3.80!

On 13 and 14 September, you can get QQ Passion Fruit Green Tea ($4.20) and Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with Pearl ($4.50), respectively. The latter is the one I’m willing to wake up at 10am and queue up for, as there’s no denying that Gong Cha’s Brown Sugar Fresh Milk is one of the better ones in town.

Just like their 12 September deal, these 1-for-1 drinks will only be available to the first 99 bubble tea lovers.

Gong Cha will also be teaming up with their Tampines neighbour, MoneyMax, to host a daily lucky draw, where you can win a 22K Gold Bubble Tea Charm. To get a lucky dip ticket, all you gotta do is purchase two drinks!

If Gong Cha Tampines is too far, here are three easy bubble tea recipes you can try at home!
